I'm going to Japan this Sunday. Haven't really planned much of the trip yet, figured the 20 hour trip with the lonely planet will sort me out by the time i'm there.
Just wondering bout climbing Mt Fuji in mid-May time. how hard could it be? apparently there's no huts working at this time of the year except at the 5th station? which would mean climbing at around 10pm from the 5th station to reach the summit for the sunrise. is this too dangerous at this time of the year to do at night?
