Hello everybody!
My friends and I are looking for a 8 beds' apartment in London. We've found one in travellerspoint.com (maida vale apartment) but adress isn't specified. Does anyone know how can we get in touch with the owner or someone who can provide us the information we need?
Thank you

There doesn't seem to be any phone number listed. It also appears that you will recieve an email address to email all inquiries to ONCE you have booked. It's kind of ridiculous if you ask me. But here are a few sites with booking info on the Maida vale apartments

I guess this is the one you found: http://www.travellerspoint.com/accommodation/3804-Access-Apartments-Maida-Vale/

Weirdly enough, there's no address given. But that may be because they didn't want guests to go straight to the apartments since they require you to check in at a different location -- Umi Hotel, 16 Leinster Square, London W2 4PR (see map).

Maida Vale is just north of Bayswater, about 30 mins walk from the hotel where you will check in. But you'll be transported free-of-charge to the apartment after checking in. There's a tube station at Maida Vale (Bakerloo line) which takes you to Oxford Circus.

I think there's nothing ridiculous in my request as I am not of London and I don't know the city. Moreover, when I book a flat the first thing I check is its location and I habitually ask as many questions as I can BEFORE the booking. In my opinion the only ridiculous thing is that there wasn't any information about the position of this apartment until I asked for it!

Maia Vale is a nice area, but like all of London the accomodation will most likely be sub standard unless you are staying at the Ritz. I'd give this place the flick and keep looking. I still like West London (Earls Court, Gloucester Road, West Kensington, Hammermsith, etc) as it's a handy location to get to the main attractions.

London accomodation can be appalling.

One of the most available areas of London for a group of people to stay at the moment, is around the Islington area. Islington is mainly located between the Underground stations of King's Cross and Angel. Around Barnsbury Road are many 5/6 bedroomed terraced houses for rent. They are mostly on 4 floors and generally in very good condition. Expect to pay around £250-£400 a week.
