trip to southern italy/spain in early december

hi, i'm planning to go for my honeymoon to south of italy and southern spain. We'll be travelling from india to Europe in the first two weeks of december. do you think it makes any sense to go to these countries that time of the year?? i'm really confused coz i've been reading conflicting reports of the weather on the internet. please advse!

You can be lucky and get 20 C and sunshine, but you can also get 10 C and rain. It is impossible to predict.

If you want warm weather and sunshine you better come in early November to these countries.

Alternatively think about going to Northern Europe in December. Germany, Austria, Sweden, etc. See the Christmas markets, play in the snow and have fun doing snowshoe-hikes and riding sleds.

Egypt would also be an option, wheather is perfect in early December in Egypt.

I agree with t_maia it's hard to predict that far in advance. However, I travelled around Andalucía in Southern Spain in the first two weeks of December a few years back and had a sunny 15 C, what would be considered lovely spring weather in Germany. It really depends on what you're after on your honeymoon. If you want to make sure it's definitely warm and sunny weather in December, you're probably better of travelling to the southern hemisphere somewhere.

Inland Spain in December (Sevilla for example) will give you a better chance of warm weather than (say) Malaga, Gibraltar or Sicily.
