Seeking Cheap accomodation help Sydney

Hi

I am looking to go backpacking in Sydney and would appreciate if anyone can please give me some suggestions of some places where I can stay for cheap. I found this place http://www.jollyswagman.com.au/ on the web, can someone who have been there before please share your opinion? I just want to know if the place is clean, safe and is conveniently located to most happening places in the city. Thanks in advance for your help!

Glebe Point YHA is a good place to stay, and in a very good location too. Buses into the city very frequently, you can also walk to the city via Darling Harbour.
