My friend and i want to go interrailing this august for about 17 days give or take. We were planning a trip from Riga, to Vilnius, to Warsaw, to Krakow, to Bratislava, to Budapest, to Ljubljana, to Dubrovnik or else from Dubrovnik backwards up to Riga.
I realise it is very ambitious to try and fit in all of these places in 17 days, but were are willing to cut a few out. I've been reading forums all morning saying to avoid Bratislava, so i'm thinking of cutting that out already, what do you think?
We're really looking for great nightlife, clubbing and gigs, and during the day sunny weather and to visit some interesting tourist spots.
Any recommendations as definites to stop in, or places to see?
We would hope to travel by train or by bus to each city. We have nothing booked yet and are very flexible, it's so hard to decide where to go and for how long!!
