My name is Ryan, 23 years old and single (ladies if you need a travel partner) from Northern California.
I am writing here from a public library in Pennsylvania. I have been traveling all across the country. I just hiked 800 miles of the Appalachian trail. I am going to work here for a week or two to get some more traveling bucks then I'm off to Maine!
I just found this website, its pretty cool. I would love to hear some of ya'lls great travel stories, as much as I would love to share some of mine...Like how I wound up sleeping in the backyard of a mansion in the richest neighborhood in El Paso, TX on my way across the country.
Most of my stories involve, in some way or another, me being cheap as I am on a 5+ month adventure that started out with 2,000 dollars.
Please check out my travel map (I spent lots of time on it!) and feel free to say hey. Do I need a forum name? You guys could help me with that too. ON the Appalachian Trail they call me Workstay, because I work at the hostels for my stay (cheapness again).
I feel my post here has been slightly influenced by the music I am listening to. I am blasting the killers on the library headphones (pandora.com). Had it been my normal Bob Dylan or mason Jennings, I think it would be much less crass and energetic, more thought-out and possibly have some deeper meaning.
