Hi

I fly into Vientiane on the 28th September and out of Singapore on the 14th October,

I would like to see northern Laos, but would also like to travel overland to Phnom Penh,

I am thinking of flying from Phnom Phen into Kuala Lumpur and going overland to Singapore for a few days.

Some advice would be appreciated on whether or not this is achievable in the timeframe and any other places I should be considering.

Cheers

i think you're pushing it a bit with only 2 weeks to see all that!! nothing happens quickly in SEA especially travelling overland in Laos. U will literally be spending one day somewhere and then having to move on. Id say two weeks would be minimum for northern Laos alone. Maybe just concentrate on laos and leave cambodia for another trip? overland to Phnom phen would be around a 25-30hr bus journey from Vientiane, you can fly this route with vietnam airways for about $100US. KL to singapore is easy enough you can book any number of buses of various class/price. Singapore city is nothing special, im sure you have seen tall buildings before, i wouldn't stay more than two nights to be honest.
hope that helps a bit...
