swiss honeymoon- december

HEY people.. i have been to swiss in april 2008 and did interlaken/jungfrau/schilthron/tumbleback/zurich/geneve/bern. now i'm going for my honeymoon on 13-21 dec'09. my fiance has never been there and nor have i in peak winters. need advice on which city to live in. i only wish to change hotels twice as its very easy to travel everywhere in any case. hence if i have to chose from gstaad / lucern/ geneve/ lugano / loussane whihc 2 options are good or any other suggestions are welcome. We ar elooking at some place which is well connected has little night life as things would shut early in winters..good cafes and streets. things and places to laze around and so on.. not very keen on visiting every mountain n stuff. pls help

don t know if you have already made plans, but i live in lugano and thought that some little info would help you.
Winter is generally a little slow in things to do, here. If you go to the mountains in places like st. moritz it's much fun, but certainlly cities like Zurich, Lucern and Losanne/Geneva have a lot to offer. Really a lot.
Lugano is nice, has a beautiful lake and you can make day trips by train to Locarno and Ascona (1 day and u see them both)...but it's more a summer thing. Also Christmas markets are a little scarce....
Switzerland is tiny but due to the fact that there are many languages, places are so different in culture and architecture therefore I suggest you vist for instance ZH, GE or Losanne and if you want the South - Lugano:-).

I would thoroughly recommend without reservation.. Lauterbrunnen. It is a lovely little town in the mountains (Jungfrau Region), with a small ski facility but nothing the serious downhillers would consider.
Just go on to Google and type in 'Lauterbrunnen'. There are some lovely photos on various websites and tourist info in the region is excellent.

Hey cadi & leo..thank u so much for your advise and assistance..well we have finalised our plan and we staying in lucerne then off to solis spa in adelboden and then to montreux...i have been to switzerland last yr and did all the moutains n etc..still havent done st. moritz..n lot of southern part..my husband will be there for the 1st time..can u suggest more detailed places to visit for day trips..for nights..have some party n fun in swiss way n so on given that its gonna be our honeymoon and its gonna be extremely shill weather... pls suggest
