Happy Birthday K (and Heather, though I've already wished you a good one elsewhere ;))! I'm giving you full use of the necklace for the next week If G has a problem with that, send her my way

Awh l always look forward to my TP Birthday thread (& love the fact l share it with Paw!) it just makes me smile!

I had a fabulous birthday with my friends in London - the theatre was amazing soooo good throughly recommend it to anyone - go see Priscilla Queen of the Desert - l'll go again if you want!! Drank champange at over inflated prices - made it taste so much better! Spent way too much money on shoes and handbags - my speciality and then went to London Dunegeons yesterday like 4 big children screaming like loons!

Thank you all again

Beerman and Purdy, two fantastic people.

Happy birthday to both of you. I hope you celebrated in a splendid fashion that involved copious amounts of food, alcohol and love.

Awww, thanks guys.....thanks Marlis, Sam, Rob, Hien, Peter, Steff, Arif, Jun, Bex, Katherine, SMOL, James, Chestwina, and Q!!!!!!! You guys mean so much......but don't take it personally!!!!!! heeheeheeheehee

You should have seen G and me yesterday......wow........have you ever had the feeling that you left your body and brain in another location, and couldn't remember where? Or that you had the physical prowess of stick? Motivation was limited to breathing. OK, we might have had just a teensy weensy bit to drink for 13 hours straight on Saturday, but hey, there is an upside. The speedo hardly got any public notice in Chicago. Boy are those people jaded.

We had a nice swim with my sis and her husband, had a few cocktails, lounged while watching the Belmont Stakes, had a few more cocktails, got some nice pressies (Los Lobos Kiko....awesome and inspired music), had just a few more cocktails, and finally made it to the theater to see Scott Nolan, then Hayes Carll. Wow.....300 seat theater, and if there 100 people in the audience I'd be surprised. Sat in the second row, not 15 feet away from the performers. Got autographs and pictures at intermission and after the show. Oh, and had a few more cocktails. James, where were you, we needed help with those last few......especially after hearing She Left Me for Jesus live......

Thank you all again. Big hugs to you all. And for my b-day mate SMOL, bigger hugs and a squeeze.

Hey Heather - did you wear your crown to Priscilla? Kris wore his most of the day - I think the time in the pool was the only time without it. Oh, and here's a little something for you...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PURDY!!!!!!!

Would we lie about being at the pool? No!

BTW - D & R also wished you a very Happy Birthday. The rest of the family didn't care. Though, Naomi was there (for dinner - the dinner K forgot to mention in his thread since liquor kinda outweighed the food consumption a bit) and hoped you were enjoying your time in London for your big day.

More proof that King Paw actually wore his crown...

The Theater
The First Performers
Hobnobbing
The Headliner
The lady to the side was sitting behind us and from Bowling Green. Very nice family.
More hobnobbing

Oh, and Beerman wasn't kidding about the hangovers... I had a doc appointment this morning and was to schedule some blood work done for later this week. After explaining Saturday - he told me to wait a month before having them test my liver function. Good choice there! (He also laughed at me.)
