I assume you will fly into BKK. You will receive the free, 30 day entry permit. Malaysia will issue you a free visa as well, same with Singapore. Show them your passport, get a free visa. Laos will sell you a 30 day visa when you arrive at the border, or fly in. Just pay your $30 and you are in. VietNam needs a bit of planning. You have to buy your VN visa before you arrive. Buy it in either BKK or Vientiane. You do have another option. They have a 'visa on arrival' option for those flying into VN. Many VN companies offer visa on arrival, just google it. I talk about my experience flying into HCMC in my blog, "Off to SaiGon'. I used this company, was happy with their service. Good luck with your planning.

You'll get 30-day social visit pass every time you enter Thailand by plane. If you enter overland, you'll be given 15 days only. These passes cannot be extended.

As for Malaysia and Singapore, you'll get a 3-month social visit pass every time you enter the countries.
