I think the above must be pretty rare. I wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again... in fact i am going to be flying with them on a few occasions on an upcoming trip through se asia. ;)

I've flown with them a few times, they seemed OK to me.

Although I have not flown with Air Asia (as yet) I am also a member of a Thailand website whose predominant membership is made up of expats. Comments I have read vary, from experiences similar to post by zachary to others who have had no problems. I recall comments relating to flights being cancelled (assumed lack of numbers) which have caused problems where connecting flights had been arranged. My perception is that if all goes well then everyone's happy, if things go awry then it can potentially leave a bad taste in your mouth. At some time in the future I will probably use them but only for travel from point A to point B.

I have been flew with Air Asia 3 or 4 times travelling to SEA for holiday and March last year my routing flight was Indonesia-KL-Bangkok but for some reasons my flight from Indonesia to KL was delay for 3 hours and make me missed my connecting flight to Bangkok so i decided to stay at the Airport because we arrived at almost 2 AM in the morning.

Early in the morning i checked the counter and show my ticket and explained to them then they bring me to the duty desk manager and its surprised me that they put me on the early flight to Bangkok without pay anything! I don't know wheter this is the rule or it just my lucky day not have to pay more?? Well i'm still considering as a lucky day eventhough i've missed one day of my holiday stranded at the airport. Its a new experianced spent the whole early morning at the airport hehehe....

Yeah.... so far I have been have a good time flew with Air Asia.

Cheers,
Andy

Thanks everyone for the feedback! Looks like we're going to buy our ticks from Air Asia :)

I used Air Asia during my travel to KL and Cambodia -- I experienced delayed a couple of times. But with their cheap price (and since I didn't have any flight transfer at that time) it was good enough.
