Would you feel less bad if you worked in a vodka distillery and someone diminished the same way from the stuff you were helping to make and sell??
It's a vast open debate!!

cars kill, the debate is so open it's unreal.

Vodka is intended for casual drinking.

Cars are intended for driving.

Drugs are intended for drug use. Smuggled drugs are intended for a black market which distributes to addicts.

Let's start the debate on equal footing, please.

I thought companys used to give away food that was going out of date or the packaging was damaged. I seem to remember a company being sued because someone claimed the food they were given made them ill. After that these companys didn't do it anymore in fear of being sued more. I'm sure plenty of people could eat very well from the stuff supermarkets throw away, half the time it's only damaged packaging. That book sounds interesting I think i'll have a look.

Berra, I think you would have blood on your hands in more ways than just the people who use the drugs, the people you would be trafficking the drugs would more than likely be involved in organised crimes, possible arms trading, people trafficking e.t.c.

wouldn't feel bad at all. and black market drugs are intended to be distributed to addicts? what about LSD, shrooms, marijuana and all the other non habbit forming or physically addictive drugs?

and I've done coke and many other drugs. a drug habbit is on the user, not the seller. a 12 year old addict? well I don't think I'll be visiting Sudan anytime soon but I'll be sure to keep a look out for these young crack heads.

so I guess it's a question of ethics... so as stated earlier, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. hell even if I got into some trouble with another criminal who put my life at risk I don't think I'd have any problem killing them even. live and let die?

ohhh and yes it is about ethics and from what I gather yours are so far off the mark it's unreal.

You're more than happy to destroy lives innocent or not so you can fund your little trip away round the world? what happened mate, did daddy run out of money? can't he sell the porche?

There are very few things that are actually "victimless crimes". Smuggling (of any kind), illicit transit and theft do not fall under that category. Regardless of your thoughts about those who partake in drug use, or the use of weapons, or whatever, it is still not victimless. You can even forgo the "blood on your hands" analogy - illegal is still illegal no matter how you perceive your part in it. The authorities aren't going to buy "it's a victimless crime so therefore I'm innocent of all wrong-doing" as a defense. Most will lock you up and let you tell your story to the wall. Some day you will (hopefully) stop being young and dumb - but until that time, try getting a clue.

As for the question of ethics? May I suggest growing some... Just a thought...

Isa now steps down and hands the soapbox over to anyone else who is around...

ps: Moderator comment: I have subscribed to this thread so let's not go too far off the mark. Say what you will about the topic and the poster's intent, but don't cross that fine line between commentary and an inflammatory barrage. Thanks.

Well, you appear to be an amoral person who will stop at nothing to get whatever it is you want. Try to stay away from Canada on your trip, thanks.

I shall do my utmost to get a copy. It sounds just incredible - and thanks for the info.
Post #22# tway.... I just can't see your point at all in that Post. However, I'm bowing out of this one. It's getting far too - can't think of a word to hit it on the bullseye, but not my thing anymore.
Ciao 4 now.
