Yes drugs are bad mmmkay...but I think there should be some more emphasis on the whole aspect of the black market.

Basically your putting your life out of your own control for a profit. Risk = reward as they say in finance. You get rewarded with cash, but the risk is that you'll ruin the rest of your life, either by getting caught, or something going wrong and you being a pawn to whoever is above you. The people who you deal with are also battling with this, it's a dog eat dog world where everyone is breaking the law - you prob have no idea who you'd be associating with unless you know them damn well. If someone else gets caught, rats you out then you can also say goodbye. Or, if you get caught, and police extract evidence of someone else from catching you, then you not only have the authorities to deal with...but also criminals on your ass as well. Any decent amount of cash you get is dirty, you can't put it in an account (unless you're Swiss or something) or let authorities know about it. Yes, the amount of money in it is ludicrous, but so are the risks.

There's better ways to get thrills, like going to an unknown place, or 3rd world countries where not many other people go to. Going bungee jumping. Riding a motorcycle/driving across several countries. Living as cheaply as you can, or living like the locals in some countries. Chatting to strangers in random places. Hitchhiking. Trying your luck with women. Eat a pigeon, or drink raw animal's blood. Picking a random spot on the map and going there. Trading the sharemarket. Hell even going to a casino and putting all your savings on red or black - I think all of these would be better options. You'd probably have better stories to tell, and you could tell them without you getting in trouble or having whoever you're talking to think you're an ass.

I don't see the difference in doing things illegal to finance travels, than doing things illegal to finance anything else. Perhaps only that one may be doing illegal things to satisfy an addiction - this is probably an even worse thing.

Quoting Berra2k

wouldn't feel bad at all. and black market drugs are intended to be distributed to addicts? what about LSD, shrooms, marijuana and all the other non habbit forming or physically addictive drugs?

and I've done coke and many other drugs. a drug habbit is on the user, not the seller. a 12 year old addict? well I don't think I'll be visiting Sudan anytime soon but I'll be sure to keep a look out for these young crack heads.

so I guess it's a question of ethics... so as stated earlier, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. hell even if I got into some trouble with another criminal who put my life at risk I don't think I'd have any problem killing them even. live and let die?

this must be a wind up.
