Hi,

Im leaving my full time job as a lifeguard soon (woo!..) and plan to just set off on a travelling trip with about £3000 to my name with the intention of doing sum work whilst travelling. i dont want to plan to much i just wana take 1 place at a time and keep travelling as im completely fed up with the 9-5 boring way of life! where would you go, what would you do etc any feedback would be great, i definetley wana see s.e asia and new zealand.

well, I wish you all the best on your lifestyle change. I hope you find something cool to do and have many an adventure...There really is no question here that I can answer. Read around and see what strikes your fancy from some of the more specific questions.

I would definitely visit some tropical islands, the countries near the arctic, Africa, the Amazon... Places that are very different from my country. The USA probably, Australia, Japan, China... the list is neverending.

I would work wherever possible in order to save some money for accommodation and food. I would do the proper vaccinations before leaving.

Have you heard about the couchers? They offer accommodation to strangers and get offered accommodation by strangers. It's interesting in your case.
