Helsinki to Tampere Airport (pirkkala)

Hi you all!
I'll be in helsinki in july, and i've booked a Ryanair flight to come back to Italy.
I can't find an easy way to move from Helsinki to Tampere airport! (pirkkala, right?)

My flight is on sunday and i have to be at the airport at 12:45 (midday)
Any suggestion?

Hi!

I'd say the easiest way is to take a train from Helsinki to Tampere. There are busses leaving from Tampere railway station to Tampere-Pirkkala airport based on flight schedules (so you'll get there on time). I think you'll find the buss schedules from Ryanair website under Tampere.

Its lke 30 Euros and 2 hours. Try and also see Tampere. I went with EasyJet as lots of people are bored of Ryanair and I flew straight to Helsinki, last Sunday.

If you have time, I also would recommend staying in Tampere for a day a two.
Depending on when you're visiting, there's a lot going on during summer, especially on weekends (e.g. Tammerfest rock festival in July).

So the options are train or bus to tampere, and bus or taxi to pirkkala.
Looking at the timetables, the only way to get there on sunday not wasting half day is bus (expressbus) and then taxi from tampere to pirkkala.

does anyone know how much will it cost a taxi from tampere to the airport? it costs the same for 1,2 or 3 persons? can i easily find a taxi in tampere (near the bus station)?

Hi again! Taxi costs around 25-30 euros for 1 or 2 person. If there's three or more of you, it'll be a bit more.
Also Sundays are a bit more expensive than weekdays.
You'll be able to get a taxi from bus station or from railway station.
