Lis has indicated that this thread is about Italy

We are looking for a cheapest options to get to French alps (La Plagne) from Milan. I couldn't find any where if we can take a bus?
Guys! Can you give a clue there to look and what would be the best options in regards of value for money?
Also maybe someone once to go together. We are 2 Russian girls flying to Milan and going snowbording in La Plagne. We are going on 8th and coming back on 15th
Thanks a lot

No idea if there's a direct service or not. It's possible, but would guess not many, if at all. Off the top of my head and without checking if it's even possible (if bus operators run it), i would suggest trying to get a bus to Courmayer or Aosta, and a ski bus connection over to Aime-La P.

Better bet would almost certianly be to go via Turin to Val d'Isere, and go onward to there as connections between the French resorts tend to be quite good, and Val being the biggest (and closest to Turin and the Italian areas around Sestrieres) probably has the best connections.

You can go by train via Chambery as well, although no idea how cheap that is. Try http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en for TT info. quickest is about 6.15 which isn't great.

Will try and find something more official rather than guesswork though if i get a bit of time. Good luck
