From Krakow. Also the National Park and Zakopane. Cheers!

Auschwitz / Oswiecim is a 90-minute train ride from Krakow. The camp is about a mile from the train station, with a frequent shuttle bus running between the two. Entrance is free, but a donation is warmly appreciated to keep this heritage site from further decay.

Assuming you mean the Wieliczka Salt mine: that's just outside Krakow. I haven't been there myself, but I seem to remember someone telling me that an organised tour is the only option. The link below should give ample information.

Zakopane: I don't see why you should want to go there, unless you mean to explore the Tatra massif. In that case, plan at least a week so you can hike from cabin to cabin, which is an unforgettable experience. The best web portal I know of is the one mentioned below, but it wouldn't hurt to buy a guide book.

Better, quicker and cheaper than the Train is the bus from Krakow's main bus station (quite logically!) It only took 45 mins max and it both dropped and picked you up by the main enterance. I think you have to pay for the main camp but the "Schindler's List" part is free, although most people do the first bit and take the "all in" bus as it is actually a fair few miles apart. I must say that the experience is unique but in a very strange way "recommended."
Re the Salt Mine, you have to do organised tours. The city's tourist information office just off the main square will be able to help.
