Go to our the first post in this thread and follow the link to the Lane Cover Tourists Camp site and fill out the reservation application there. Let them know you'd like to get places as close to the travellerspoint group as you can.

Ive Just send the LaneCove account a private message asking what is the best way to set this up for me and my girlfriend so we can camp near you guys whilst still having our van, we might have to park it up for the week :) and just bring out tent gear over.

Im well up for some surf on NY's day, i've never surfed before but i have from sep - dec to practice whislt me and my girlfriend make our way down the east coast. This is gonna be an amazing xmas/ny!

Hi Ya everyone.
Things seem to be going along well and I see that you have more and more people joining the group:)
I need to check on the booking so I can put Mike (campervan) with you.
So Webguy, can you let me know what names the bookings are in please?
And how many people you have, how many tents and the sizes? It's just that you may need more than one site but the individual cost will still be way cheaper than staying at a hostel.
A$204.00 for seven nights (based on two people) plus A$10.00 per extra person, per night (or A$60 per extra person for 7 nights).
It's 2am in Sydney at the moment (GMT +10) and it's time I was asleep!
It's the 15th July already!!:)

p.s. If you look at the Google map at the start of this thread there is a link on the map page to a Google map I created. It shows where the bus and trains leave from to get to the city. As well as a great Italian place to eat.

Morning Keith, and by the look of it, an early morning! Out pubbing?

I'll try to answer your questions the best I can. As of right now, we have 2 bookings for 2 groups arriving at different dates. The first Group arrives on the 23rd and that should be under Mike Milbournes name. I believe Mikes group is currently setup for 3 people, but not sure. You or he can verify that. The second group, which will be arriving on the 27th, is under my name, Tim Lavelle. I have that booked for 8 people. All of these bookings are for non-powered tent sites.

At the moment, I believe the total number is 8 campers that will be there by the 27th, and then the recent addition of MikeAllen will be in a campervan. I think he'll need to make a separate reservation because he has that vehicle. But please confirm that. Mike Milbournes camp group will join mine I get there. The first post on this thread has a head count but does not list MikeAllen and his +1.

If you have any other questions, please let me know. Thanks Keith.

Hi Keith just to confirm even though me and Erin will have a campervan with us we would like to camp with the main group. We will be arriving on the 23rd Dec and be staying untill everyone else has chipped off, which i think is the 2nd of Jan. Please confirm this is ok? When do we pay.. and how much will it be for me and Erin to stay on the unpower tent site for 11 nights :)

Hi Tim & Mike (campervan).
I have spread you across 2 sites for the second part of your booking so you will all have enough room.
It increases the overall cost but with the number of people you have I think you will need it.
Better to have too much room than not enough and best I do it now while I can. (we book out completely over New Year's Eve).
No problem about parking the campervan close to the sites.
You are also close to the camp kitchen and overlooking the National Park so you're in a great spot.
The extra campsite is $34.00 per night. Cost wise for Mike and his partner will be A$10.00 each per night as extra people on an existing site and if we spread the cost of the extra site across everyone it won't be much more than that.
Original prices still apply so there is a discount of one night when you stay for seven.
We will have a much more accurate price for each person when we have the final number of people on these 2 sites.
It's still going to be very a very low cost for everyone.

Will definatly be bring a BBQ and lots of beer :) also if anyone needs to store any valuables when were off site your welcome to store in our van which will be locked in a secure location.

Danielle if you go ahead on the T-Shirt idea please can you do an extra two mediums for me and Erin. We can chuck you a few $ for them no problem.

Who else is arriving on the 22nd?

Ah Mike your out of luck the tshirt idea went out of the window, instead i have mankinis printed for the men. HA!HA! ONLY JOKING!

Anyway i am so looking forward to this, us all sat round a camp fire beers in hand!

And a surf the day after which shall cure the hangovers(hopefully)

Hey all, sorry i havnt been around in a while - still busting my balls in work!

Good to see everyone is really up for this - old faces and new
Ive got to the point where im counting down in weeks now - was 12 on tuesday - till i fly out!

Concerning bookings, we are running on 2; Tim has one from the 27th and mine begins on the 23rd until that date. At present it is booked for 4 people however if anyone wishes to join us in arriving early simply shoot me a pm and ill add any further people to my book - to keep things simple and us all together! I presume if we all just book in under my name it will make it so much easier in meeting up!
