sri lanka for 2 weeks

i need some help planning 2 weeks in sri lanka in september. anyone know much about what there is to do? and how expensive it is out there? thanks

I've been there several times. If you want beaches then Hikkaduwa in the south west is the spot for sun, sand & surfing. The other spot is called (I think) Aragum bay, and is in the south. You choose the spot dependent on the season. I think the monsoon season is coming to a close in Hikkaduwa in October?

Otherwise if you want to see the real country head for Kandy, the temple of the tooth. Sigiriya.....

Sri Lanka is one of my favourite countrys. You'll be sure to have a great time whatever you choose!
