Hi There Everyone.
Just wanted to drop in and say hi. I am a person who loves travelling and am always thinking and planning where to go next. I currently live in Taiwan with my wife and use that as my travelling springboard. I am fortuntate to have a wonderful wife who also loves travelling too. I am sure we are going to get a lot of tips from this website about places to visit and see.
I look forward to interacting with you all on this forum and hope the exchanges will be useful on both ends. So thats it! Please feel free to look at my profile for more info on me and please feel free to say hi in this thread or by messaging me.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Hi Paul, welcome to TP and hope to see you around the forums soon. It looks like you've already been to some interesting places.
Thanks for the welcome. Yes, we have travelled to quite a few places. We have even been to your neck of the woods. We were in New Zealand in February 04. We loved the kayaking in Abel Tasman, the whole East Coast experience on the South Island was brilliant and we really had a blast on doing White Water rafting in Rotorua.
I am sure you have been around too. You seem to be a "Travel Guru" so I guess you know a bit.
Thanks again for the welcome.
Hi durbanbay and welcome to Travellerspoint! Thanks for the mention on Twitter too
It's great to have a wife that loves travelling just as much. It's got to be hard to really love travelling whilst your partner doesn't....
Thanks for the welcome and no worries on the tweet. I dont have tons of followers but those that do follow will at least be aware of your site. I have also linked Travellerspoint to our website (Paul and Queenie's World). I think you are right that it would be rough if my wife didn't like travelling, but she does and we have done so many wonderful trips together.
Anyway you guys have a great site here. I look forward to getting to know the people who post and to read blogs and posts in the forum to learn more about where people go and what they do.
Once again, thanks for the welcome.
