Cash in hand jobs

Travel Forums General Talk Cash in hand jobs

I'll be travelling in a few months starting in Asia, and will back pack my way around there before eventually heading to Europe and Canada.
I'm hoping to pick up some easy jobs that pay cash in hand while I travel around, so nothing complicated- does anyone know whether these types of jobs are relatively common, and if so, in what countries and what sort of jobs are they?

Thanks.

Hi Friedsprat

Probably the easiest job you can get is adhoc English teaching jobs. Individual classes with students. However, students here in Taiwan usually want the teacher to commit for a few lessons at least so to ge the work you might have to just stay in one place for a couple of weeks before moving on.

Hope that helps

As far the England leg of your trip in concerned, cash in hand jobs are OK until you get caught. The penalties are harsh for both you and your employer (no matter how short the job was - and how little you were paid) and you may get deported.... After paying a hefty fine.
Good luck.
