my and 2 more friend are going to america this september. We are flying to NY and we will be there for a week.
and we coming back home from SFO. from NY to west coast we are not sure were to fly to. We were thinking:
To fly to San Diego, see tijuana, then LA from there to gran canyon, then las Vegas, the Death valley, yosemite and finally SFO.
We have 2 week for this, we want to rent a car in San Diego.
Could any one sugest any tip for the trip?
Do you think are we going to be able to see everything?
If we don't have time for everything. Which place should be better to take off from our list?
thanks you in advance

I suggest you fly into Las Vegas and rent your car. We have cheap rental rates compared to other cities. After Vegas, hit the Grand Canyon, over to San Diego, perhaps Tijuana. I vote 'no' on that part. Not enough to see versus the problems. Up to LA, Death Valley, Yosemite, over to SF, fly home Drop DV if time is short. There is less backtracking using Vegas vs SD for your car rental. Good Luck with your planning.

The most amazing trip for me was down the west coast. Driving down the coast from Washington state to San Diego, California you can see the extreme changes in landscape, oceans, and climate. There are some amazing cities on the way: Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, L.A., and San Diego. You might look into using Triple A (www.aaa.com). My parents planned a cross country trip and AAA mapped it out and set hotel reservations and everything. You could also arrange your trip around seeing all the national parks (Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon etc) - that would give you an actual agenda and set a course for you.
