I just thought this was odd.....An episode of CSI from the 3rd season...has people on a plane killing a man for getting out of hand...now the creepy part...2 weeks ago in USA today..7 people subdued a passanger while inflight, and the man died...I haven't heard anymore about it....But talk about life imitating art!

at the moment we keep quoting A Mighty Wind, so we're annoying people all the time, current favs' are -

Mike LaFontaine (Fred Willard): "Hey, wha' happened?"

and

We had a lot of fun with that and a lot of other catch phrases: "I got a real red wagon!", and uh, "I can't do my work!", And I believe I was the first one to use the phrase, "I don't think so!". But it only lasted a year. And that's good because that's how you establish a cult."

Mike LaFontaine: "You do not want to be on a ship when dysentery breaks out and be knocking on the men's room door, "Will you be coming out soon?" and hear "I don't think so!"."

Laurie Bohner: "We are Winc. W-I-N-C. Witches In Nature's Colors. Winc."

Terry Bohner: "This flame, like all flames, represents the light and the darkness. It also represents the uncertainty of life and it's delicacy. It also represents a penis."

Mark: "I came to a realization that I was, and am a blonde, female folk singer trapped in the body of a bald , male folk singer, and I had to let me out or I would die."
Jerry: "When you put it that way, it's almost poetry."
Alan: "Almost."

Yep! you spelled it right (having a sister born when you're 12 means memorization of virtually all Disney movies - Lion King was her favorite)

... having a sister born when you're 12 means memorization of virtually all Disney movies ...

Haha! I agree! My sister was born when I was 7 and now, 20 years later, we still watch those old VHS tapes when we visit the house where we grew up and can recite entire passages from those movies!

These days sis and I speak to each other with phrases from Night at the Roxbury. People think we are crazy! Things like:

"I was like Emilioooo!! Emilioooooooo!!!!"
"No! [pause] YEEESSSS!!!"
"Wait a minute, did you just grab my ass?"
"Are you seeing planes? Is your name Tattoo? Because swear to God, you're living on Fantasy Island."

And my bf is seriously annoyed when I put on a musical - Sound of Music, The Lion King - and sit there and sing each and every song at the top of my lungs!

Here's one I've been saying all day....

In Anchorman, there's a part where the all the boys from the news crew are in Ron Burgendy's office and they start singing the song "Afternoon Delight." At one point in the song they sing "Sky rocket's in flight" and Champ goes "beeeeooooooooooooo" - this really high pitched odd sound. It cracked me up so much when I saw the movie and I thought of it this morning and have been going "beeeeeeeeeeeoooooooooo" all day. LOL, I'm laughing now just thinking about it!

K ;)

Although I've yet to see the movie, apparently the llama in Napoleon Dynamite is named "Tina". If I have to hear "Feed Tina!!!!" one more time...
