Thailand Accom Christmas/New Years

Hi everyone,

Just wanting some advice about accomidation on Koh Samui and Koh Phangan over Chirstmas and New year. I understand that the majority of people recommend you find a place to stay upon arrival at the islands - however being that Christmas/NY will be pretty hetic on account of the Full Moon Party - should we book before we arrive?

If you are looking for mid-range or top end accommodation then I would certainly recommend booking in advance. Budget places can get very busy as well, but are not easily booked online.
