Need urgently cheap accommodation in Andalusia – please help

We are two persons travelling to Spain in August 2009. We start in Barcelona and the last two weeks we are planning to travel Andalucia (Seville and Malaga). We are looking for low cost accommodation - hotels, hostals, holiday apartments or whatever. Can any one please help?

Well you have choose the right month! Because it is beautiful weather here by then..
It is not so hard to find an apartment in Andalusia, do you already have an apartment in Barcelona?

First you can look on different websites for low cost accommodations. Probably a hostel is the cheapest, but a holiday apartment is very nice in these cities.
If I were you I should book before, because in august it is full of tourists so if you want to make sure that you definitely have a place to stay it is better to book before you go.

There is a lot to see in these cities! I´m living in Barcelona now for 3 weeks and I haven´t seen the whole city jet.
Also in Seville is a lot to see, like the Torro del Oro and you can check the flamenco dance.

So check the website´s for nice apartments, there is a lot to find.

Hi there!

I found through Gumthree one girl, who gives cheap her room for rent. I stopped there. I rented a very nice room in the shared apartment just in the city centre (close to LAS RAMBLAS and PLACA CATALUNYA). It was just 25€/night and there were only the landlady (her name is RENA, she speaks english and french) and me.I had my keys, so i was able to come back home even early in the morning and also i was able to take a bath any time i want and i cooked at home, so i saved a lot. If you do not want to spend your money for restaurants, here are some of the cheapest supermarkets: DIA, LIDL, MERCADONA.

If you plan to taste some spanish food, so do not eat in LAS RAMBLAS, it is very expensive and sometimes not very good. It is better to eat in Gothic or Borne area, you can find MENU DEL DIA, consisting of 3 courses, by 8-10 euros.

If you need INTERNET, so you can have 15 minutes of internet for free at any public libraries.
