I survived China's worst winter in 500 years, 2007.
But my 1st summer in East Asia is not very good, I had to google mouth sore and its caused by so many things except hot climates. Still everyone tells me to blame it on the heat of summer.

I thought people were exaggerating when they said its sooo hot. I assume Summer ends after Sept. I cant wait.
Is winter a better deal?

Like most places which are neither subarctic nor tropical, the best time to visit East Asia is in the Spring or Fall, when it is neither too hot nor too cold. There ARE a few places in China which are bearable this time of year, though. I suggest you come here to Dalian, which is in the Northeast, on the sea. There's almost always a breeze, which helps to cool things down. It does get hot here, sometimes, but nothing like Beijing, or much of the rest of China. Kunming also has a fairly moderate climate, year-round, because of its elevation.
