Hi there,

Am travelling with a friend for 3 weeks to thailand and wouyld like a couple of questions answered.

Best ways to travel from Chiang Mai to Phuket ?

Best ways to travel Phuket to Krabi ? Also where to stay as a central location to see all islands around Krabi eg Phi Phi and Koh Lanta.

Best ways to travel to see the islands around Krabi ?

Getting from Krabi to Bangkok ?

We are going from 11 oct to 31 oct so will boats still be taking travellers around the island ?

Got any good places to stay in any of the islands (hotels) budget is £18 - £20 a day

I checked Nok Air and 1 2 Go Air and could not get a direct flight from CNX to HKT. You have to go through BKK. You have a choice: fly from CM to BKK, fly down to Phuket. Or overnight bus one leg, fly or 2 long bus rides. You have to decide: money vs. your time.

Phuket to Krabi you have several options: take the ferry, bus or a minivan. I would use Krabi town as your base. You can day trip many beaches from town. You can island hop from town or from Railay Beach.

You can fly back to BKK from Krabi or overnight bus. Boats will be running if weather permits. Koh Jum & Lanta are generally cheaper than Phuket. Good luck with your planning.
