Strooth. SEA = South East Asia. How was I to know that??

Thought you were well travelled and down with abbreviations!!!!?

So did I. But come on.... If I told you I was off to NEM for a few days, where am I going??
By the way - well travelled I am (still lots to do though), but I aint been to SEA or NEA or NWA or NEA or, come to think of it, AIA.

I would say to check whether your travels clash with any local holidays or even school holidays. In case of clash, I would say to pre-book your accomodations.

I have experienced a few times travelling during the school holidays during the Chinese New Year that my family couldn't get any rooms at all at our intended destinations!

The most recent time we experienced this was Feb 09 during this year's Chinese New Year weeklong holidays. We were supposed to stay at Cherating beach in east coast Malaysia but no rooms were available that the nearest place to stay was another 40km away, which was not beside a beach at all.

Hope this helps.

Lola;)

I bought the Acer 1GB Ram and 16GB hard drive from laptops direct ( a UK site), they have various versions, its worth taking a look. I paid £160 (british pounds) for mine. It has wireless built in so no need for external adaptors unless you want to utilise a mobile phone.
I too am a bit of a technophobe so I suggest you take a look at the spec online. If you are wanting to download photos then I would suggest you get as many GB hard drive as you can afford, so that you can fit them all on. My nephew managed to pick up one with 160GB for just £170..although it is bright pink!

Good luck!

I'm also wondering this, but I am going to be using mine most probably on trains as I will be on them for quite a large portion of my trip! (Trans Siberian & many more...) Can you get netbooks with included modem?? (so you don't have to be at a wifi hotspot???) I am not the greatest when it comes to RAM and stuff haha

North East Mexico?

We have categories liek this at work, I work within NEMEA which is Northern Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

I quite like this game!

Internet on trains is a difficult thing. There are some hispeed trains in Europe that offer it on first class seats.

I strongly doubt that there is wifi or internet access on the Transsib, since large parts of it aren't covered by any mobile network. (Not even GSM.)
