Fly SE. Asia for £13 !!!

Just wanted to let you know about this ... got the link from another thread on here & since I'd never heard of them decided to check their prices out.

Singapore -> KL = £13

Wow - pretty good deal. Does anyone know anything about this company, fireflyz? I presume they're quite new.

Yes they are relatively new but from memory I think they use KL's Subang airport rather than KLIA or LCCT, so it's more of a pain in the bum to get to and from there.

I think Tiger Airways and Air Asia have similar prices between KL and Singapore as there are no taxes on this route.

Trains and buses are an option as well I think? Time = Money!

Firefly is a subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines. They operate on turboprop aircrafts just like their sister company MASWings (in Malaysian Borneo only). Yes, they fly into the single-runway Subang Airport (SZB), which is actually closer to the city centre. Subang Airport was the old Kuala Lumpur International Airport until the current one in Sepang opened in 1998.
