I will be going to Busch Gardens in Tampa, Fl this Fall and I was wondering if anyone here had any input on it. All I have heard is that they have lots of rides. Do they shows, too? What about restuarants? Are there any particular attractions that are must sees? Oh, and can you see it all in one day or do you need two days? Any input will be greatly appreciated!

Well, I haven't been for about 2 years, but I doubt it has changed since then.

Basically it is divided into a few major sections:

(1) a wild animal park, (2) a "boardwalk" kind of area with small booths and rides, and (3) some major "theme areas" (such as a one on Africa (simulating the Congo), one on Asia that simulates an India/Burma/Thai area, and one on a South Pacific island area). Each of the areas in section (3) has some fast-food restaurants, amusement rides, and smal shops based upon the themes. The rides are sometimes small, but sometimes very large--such as giant roller coasters. There are also nature displays such as birds and lizards in terrariums, and crocadiles in fenced-in mini-lakes.

Enjoy

And I'll add the Bird,Dolphin and Elephant shows,if you like roller coasters you will not be disappointed,It opens around 9AM and closes around 10PM so you will have plenty of time to see everything in one day.

I've been there you can do everything if you arrive when the park opens and stay until it closes. The rides are fantastic and the food is typical park food.

The shows are alot of fun especially for first timers, great thing to do with friends or your family. Dining there is the standard fast food, restaurant and cafes just like any amusement park in florida

Have a wonderful time!

Was at busch gardens last summer, would agree - can do it all in one day. we got there just after it opened and stayed till round 7pm definately recommend the smoked ribs :P they're bigger than the plate! Im personally a rollercoaster lover, so they were the main attractions for me - make sure you do them all! Oh and the rhino rally was a lot of fun too!

Have a great time
