Santorini

Hey there,

I'm beginning to plan my travel plans for next year and I'm hoping
to do Greece especially to Santorini Island. Has anyone flew from Malaysia to Greece and I need advice from those who has been there.

I am still in the midst of looking up for information and would love to know more about the island and the rough cost of holidaying in Greece.

I spent a week on Santorini with three girlfriends last year and absolutely loved it! If you let me know what information you're after, I'm happy to give you a more detailed reply. Cost of our holiday was about 500 € including flights from Germany and accommodation.
As for flying from Malaysia, guess the easiest is to get a flight to Athens and take the ferry from there. Santorini has a domestic airport, but the ferry ride is really nice, as long as the weather is ok.

Greece is relatively expensive, you can expect to spend at least 60 EUR per day and person. Many people think that travelling to Greece is cheap, but it isn't.

It is difficult to be exact, the costs varies between the individual islands.

And if you hop from island to island and take a lot of ferries it is going to be more expensive if you stay just on one island.

I guess holidaying in Europe is a nice idea but also the cost can be unbearable sometimes. But I guess Santorini would be worth it as I love islands. The beach and sunny blue skies!
