As you may have noticed, we have changed a few things about the forum. I think the layout is probably clearer, although I did like linking to specific topics from the main forum page. I would be interested in what people think of this new layout.
I will be making some more structural changes to the forum this weekend, so stay tuned. My plan is to integrate the forum posts with the Travel Help feature, which will mean that Travel Helpers are notified when there is a new topic posted in the forum relating to their country of expertise. This should help to bring some of the Travel Helpers' knowledge out into the public. Let me know if you have any thoughts.

Maybe on the main page we can have a link to the latest five posts in the forum??? I was also thinking about the "link of the month"... or member of the month based on how many posts in the forum (excluding us two )

ps. can we also add an accommodation forum???
I will wait with the accommodation forum a little, until I have found a way to deal with possible spam. I think such a forum would have to be heavily moderated, because of the chance of people promoting their own hostel/lodge/etc.. I need to include an option for the moderator to include a 'warning' on such posts stating that this could be self promotion or something along those lines.
