Cape Whale Coast

Hi guys!

just a quick question. I'm looking to go on holiday in the cape whale coast and the only website i've got so far was this one -snip- which says its the official one but you know how many say that - and was wondering if you guys know of any better ones that i can use or if any of you have holidayed there before and can give me some useful advice which i would really appreciate

Wonderful part of South Africa and a great idea to go there. Yes - it is the official website for the Cape Whale coast and pretty informative (I think). You can also try www.hermanus.co.za - the main centre of the Whale coast for more info etc.

The best land and sea based whale watching is in SA, in Hermanus - go to google search for " Hermanus" or " southern right whales"
" Backpacking South Africa " has members there that can advise and assist you - google them

Give Marion of Zoete Inval in Hermanus my name and tell her I tolds you to contact them - see details on BSA - she and her huisban are very knowledgable and can assist you a lot and thats where I stay on my visits.

Actually, one of them hadn't got a link nor email adress. You haven't also, but you have your website link at your travelhelp settings. So, what should I do?

Both initial posts had links; the second one just wasn't linkified. First one (and thus the entire thread) is spam, as the website proudly proclaims "developed by studio137", so it wasn't very smart of Studio137 to go and choose that as their username and then go and ask us about its officialness.

montesse's reply shouldn't have been flagged, though, imo. That was just being helpful from a long-term member.

I think it's about right now. Flagging them both was ok by me Utrecht, but after reviewing the members in question, I agree with Sander that montesse's answer is genuine and will leave that one.

mgregory's post I'll let stand. Though repeated posts like that are obviously not in the spirit of forum policy. mgregory, the forum rule is not against links, but against "promotional" posts.
