Pattaya - Koh Pahgnan

Hi I've recently booked 2 weeks holiday in a Pattaya with a few mates for April 2010. We intend on spending most of out time in Pattaya but would like to go down to Koh Pahgnan for 3 days for the fully moon party and to enjoy the area. Please can someone advise me on transport from Pattaya to Koh Pangnan and how long it takes to get there from Pattaya so we can plan it.

The only option that makes any sense is to fly BKK Airways from U-Tapao to Samui. You can get a taxi or mini van from Pattaya to U-Tapao, 30-40 minutes. Once on Samui, you need transport from the airport to the ferry. Ferry over to Koh PhanGan.

All the other options: train, bus, boat require you to return to BKK. It will just take you too much time to go by boat, train, or bus IMO. Good luck with your planning.
