Hi

My boyfriend kindly got me a backsack for xmas for my travels. Its only now ive started to plan ahead more as I go away in the next few months.
he got everything i thought was needed, i.e pockets, water proof cover, padding on the straps etc. however it turns out the zips do not have large holes so i am unable to put padlocks on.

i am unsure how the best way to secure my bag will be now or whether i shud go out and buy another, which i will feel bad in doing so.

any tips would be great

thanks

I wouldn't bother with padlocks, if someone wants to get in they will just slash your pack, then you will really be in trouble.
The best protection against pickpockets is to have the rain cover over your bag in crowded places such as transport hubs. Theives are opportunist, move as if you know what you are doing. iNCOMMUNiCARDO
