Kia ora Annie,
check out www.airasia.com, they have some pretty cheap flights. When are you planning to travel?

Borneo is the 3RD largest island in the world... any traveller who gets bored there is probably a sex tourist in denial.

There lots of stuff do to, land in KL and you will have a forest of brochures to read from the airport stands...

Where in Borneo, it is owned by three countries, I mean three countries share Borneo.

I'd say go to KK and to Labuan island, hit Brunei and then cross the border to Indonesia and go back to Malaysia through the state of SARAWAK... from there fly to Singapore and bus to KL... I envy you now....

one of the most interesting places in this region if you have any interst in flora and fauna. Sarawak - nothing interesting in the city Kuching, move out to Damai - some pretty resorts, nice beach with tropic forest behind. Make 1-2-3 days trips in tropical forests (look for guided tours in the city - really good), can throw in a night with the natives (pre-paid package tours again), cheap sea food (quality just ok), snorkel, dive with turtles. Sabah - climb up Kota Kinabalu highest peak in SEA (you willhave to make arrangements in advance), loads of snorkeling/diving sites - short 1-2 days trips to hot springs/ jungle treks etc. No Sex tourism.

You are welcome, and nothing to be so pissed about. Take it as a "No Smoking" Sign.
Happy travelling.
