Sydney-Fraser Island-Whitsundays starting Nov 5th

So i was thinking of doing a tour that starts in Sydney on Nov 5th and then travels up the east coast to Fraser Island then eventually ends in the Whitsundays in the middle of November. Does anyone advise against this? Not sure if the weather is really bad at that time of the year in Queensland. There's also the option of starting in reverse order.

Should be fine i was in townsville last year in late october and it was 30 degrees and a bit humid but really nice, the whitsundays and fraser are south of there should be a great time to go!

I guess you travelling for two or three weeks so reversing the direction wouldn't make too much difference weather wise
