A man rides into town on Tuesday, stay for two consecutive days, and leaves on Tuesday. How is this possible?

Urm. His Horse (or camel, bike, airhopper, skateboard depending what he's ridding) is called Tuesday.

Why?

Yes, it's possible by crossing the international dateline.

He leaves on Tuesday, crosses the international dateline eastward, reaches the town on Monday, which is effectively the previous day, due to the time zone. He stays for two consecutive days, which is until Tuesday, and then leaves the town.

Cheers,
Hien

Oh, I didn't notice the word "rides". I was editing my answer when gelli posted his. If he really is riding something, then it is not possible for him to cross the dateline. If this really is the case, gelli is probably right. Whatever he is riding is called "Tuesday"!

Cheers,
Hien
