Hi, I am 33m from Singapore. Not into backpacking scene but prefer off the road trips. Trying to gather a group of 3-4 ppl for a 20 day trip in Tibet.
Following is my prefered itinerary, though open to modify it a bit.
1 - Arrive Lhasa.
2 - Jokhang temple,sera monastery.
3 - Potala Palace.
4 - Namtso lake.
5 - Namtso lake –Yangbachen hotspring—Shigatse
6 - Shigatse--EBC
7 - EBC---Saga or Zhongba
8 - Saga or Zhongba ----Lake Manasarovar
9 - Lake Manasarovar---Darchen
10 - Darchen--- Dira-puk Monastery (Kora)
11 - Dira-puk Monastery--- Zutulpuk Monastery (Kora)
12 - Zutulpuk Monastery ---Darchen (Kora)
13 - Darchen--Zanda
14 - Zanda-Tsaparang Guge Kingdom-Zanda
15 - Zand---Ge’gyai
16 - Ge’gyai---Dongco
17 - Dongco ---Tsochen-Daban
18 - Daban---shigatse
19 - Shigatse---Gyantse---Yamdok Lake---Lhasa
20 - Departure from Lhasa
Alternatively, we can take northern road all the way to Lhasa which may require an additional day. Cost should be around RMB 8000/pax for grp of 4. It may be cheaper since the peak tourist season would be over by then. Any interest?
