...............Admiral Beerman, having just rescued the captive TP Pirate Crew from the clutches of Scotland Yard by convincing the guards that if this was Scotland Yard it was in the wrong place because Scotland is a bit further north so they unlocked the cells and had at the 12 kegs of pirate rum they also confiscated when they arrested the whole crew at a small bar down by the Thames that had unfortunately tried to declare that it was closing time which upset the poor drunken pirate crew so much they hung the barman from the bar yardarm which wasn't really high enough to hang someone from but still, has an epiphany.........

Dammit Lads, get yer scalawag arses up and head fer the Martini Blimp docked down at that big wheel thingy.....we got to find Capt. Isa before it's too late and she misses her big day. We got miles to go afore ye sleep. But Admiral, can't we just get back on the pirate ship and have a nice little party there with some cupcakes and rum punches? NO, ye scalawag rat droppings, we have to round up all the TP Pirates in the world and bring 'em to the big surprise party your Admiral has planned on Mt. Isa. But Admiral, yer the only one allowed to Mt. Isa....... Silence wretches, right as ya may be thar, we still need the rest of the guests to do the singing because you lot stink like bottom of a 5 cat littler box. No off with ye....you twenty head back to the rum bar she was last seen at and also pick up the other Londonites and miscellaneous UKers, and I'll be back in a few shakes of me martini shaker.....

As the crew heads off to find their Beloved Captain, Admiral Beerman leaps onto the bridge of the Martini Blimp and sets sail, so to speak, at warp speed. First stop, Northern Irishville and Regular Irishville to pick up First Officer CatClaw Purdy and her Cat-O-Nine-Tails named Ralph and that Rogue Swiss Metaphysicist Pardunckle, then over to Norwegia to pick up the Master, Next stop, Belgium and the Netherlandish Places to pick up a rogue Giggler and some Wacky Dutchies. Then it's off to the Colonies to pick up N, T-Bump, WonkerGirl, EvSara, WagesMikes, Annie in Florida just because we like Florida, the Pie shop to pick up that Car Guy, then off to SE Asia for the GemWoman Sapphyre and MaWaif, and quick jump over to India for Mr. Blog Arif, then down to the last stop, the Land of OZ to pick up the other Masters, Mr. WTF Himself, and a quick stop at the Raging Alcoholics Club to get James. Anyone that was missed will be picked up in the next chapter. And the Martini Blimp glides to a graceful stop just off the East Patio of Stately Isa Mansion high atop Stately Mt. Isa.

Alright Fellow Pirate Travellers, this is your Admiral speaking. I want everyone to line up in nice straight rhombuses, put on your party outfits, and get ready to sing. I understand your Beloved Captain will be here momentarily. She would have been here sooner, but you know how English rum disagrees with her. Are the balloon animals all blown up and ready? Good, now get ready........LOOK, there's the limo....ok gang, SING LIKE YE MEAN IT!!!!!!

I wish that I could fly
Into the sky
So very high
Just like a dragonfly

I'd fly above the trees
Over the seas in all degrees
To anywhere I please

Oh I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah yeah yeah

Oh I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah yeah yeah

Let's go and see the stars
The milky way or even Mars
Where it could just be ours

Let's fade into the sun
Let your spirit fly
Where we are one
Just for a little fun
Oh oh oh yeah !

I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah yeah yeah

I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah yeah yeah

I got to get away
Feel I got to get away
Oh oh oh yeah

I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah with you yeah yeah
Oh Yeah !

I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah with you yeah yeah
I got to get away

I want to get away I want to get away I want to get away I want to get away
Yeah
I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah with you yeah yeah
I got to get away

I want to get away I want to get away I want to get away I want to get away
Yeah

I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah with you
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

OK Pirates, that was pretty good. Now, who's tending the bar?

Many hours go by, and then many more. Thoroughly snockered guests leave in small groups of 50 or 60, making their way down Stately Mt. Isa (some still snickering at their callous "Mt. Isa" jokes, on their way back to their former lives of wretched depravity.

So, my Dearest Love Poodle, we are finally alone here at Stately Isa Manor. May I make googly eyes at you and woo you with my simple charms? I will sing for you a song for the ages.....no, that is not a joke about age, I was just.....oh, never mind, just sit back with this magnum of martinis and listen......

Here comes the weekend, honey, what's goin' on
Do we put our feet up, honey, or party all night long
Oh, baby, whatever, I'm with you

Are we stayin' home, are we goin' downtown
Are we dressin up, baby, or dressin' down,
Oh, whatever, baby, I'm with you

You're my sunshine in the mornin', you're my stars at night
You're all I ever dream about
Anything you want, well, baby, that's alright
Anything you don't, I can learn to live without it

Long as I'm with you 'til the sun stops burnin'
I'm with you 'til this world stops turnin'
'Til the end of time, oh, I'm with you,

You're my sunshine in the mornin', you're my stars at night
You're all I ever dream about
Anything you want, well, baby, that's alright
Anything you don't, I can learn to live without it

Long as I'm with you 'til the sun stops burnin'
I'm with you 'til the world stops turnin'
'Til the end of time, baby, I'm with you
'Til the end of time, oh, baby, I'm with you, oh, yeah

And with that, I bid thanks to all we know and love.

THANK YOU Hien, Bex, James, Katie, Arif, Jase, Steff, Sam, Derek, Michael, Rob, Anthony and Jun (and Wafe) and the Admiral!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

WOW! I thought I was hard on the crew as Captain but this Admiral person is brutal!! Glad we keep him locked in the broom closet during our other voyages and only let his alter ego "Beerman" out to make wishes of happy!!!!

Michael: Hien started it this year.
Derek: No, I wasn't kidding. I don't kid about becoming ancient before my time. (I am not a Mayan ruin yet!)
Jase: Lost it all. Oh wait, threw the last fiver in and walked away with ten. (Know not to take much and don't use ATMs.)

I have had a wonderful birthday so far and it ain't over, so I'm told! (There seem to be some pressies still to be opened in awhile.) Beerman booked at night for us at the new casino/hotel that recently opened in the Quad Cities (Rock Island & Moline, Illinois - Daveport & Bettendorf, Iowa). Okay, not the hot spot of the Midwest, but it's only 2 hours away and it's a very scenic drive along the Mississippi River if you take the "Old River Road" route. The weather was beautiful for the drive. We ate, we drank, we lost what little money we took along and we played in the pool (no one else was there - too busy gambling). Earlier today, we stopped for lunch and a beer at the restaurant owned by an acquaintance of Beerman's. Fine German cuisine (lots of sausages) and a beer menu to rival Germany itself. We took another unplanned scenic route home and stopped to see the 75 giant windmills, up close and personal, spinning in the wind. They are about 16 miles away from our house but we can see them out our windows. Boy, are they big and cool and silent! (Yes Jase, they were all spinning at a very good clip and the corn made more noise.)

So with that, I thank you all again and give you all big hugs and kisses whether you want them or not! Please take this martini too!! I'm going to sit back and sip my rum.

By the way, Admiral. nice job with that first run-on sentence. Just shows why you're an author and not an editor for the TU blog.

Also, THANK YOU for Lenny Kravitz and Dilbert McClinton!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU TOO! ;)

you Gretchen,

"THE SOUL OF TP"

THANK YOU Wouter, Mike and Marlis!!!!!!!

Would love to party in Vegas!! If we could just find free airfare, it would be grand. We'll keep practicing our poker skills which means we'd have lots of time to sight see instead since the money would be gone in about 5 minutes. ;)

Oh Marlis... With the way I break things around here, I think someone stole the TP soul from me. Must find that crowbar and get it back!
