I'll join in the late crowd :) Happy birthday!! Totally agree on the week-of-festivities idea. It's the only way to go.

Just came back from two months in fabulous Fiji, living without electricity or running water, and it was awesome!

Happy birthday, Isa! Hope it was a great one! It's been so good getting to e-know you the last couple of years!

THANK YOU Amanda!!!!!!!

I had a lovely birthday! Your 2 months in Fiji also sound glorious!!! You should have let us know ou were going - we would have been your backpack handlers! (At your expense, of course.)

One of these days you'll make it up from St. Louie and we'll make it into Chicago. BTW, my favorite oldies radio station broadcasts the Cardinals games which just interrupts some really good tunes. I'm lodging a protest since I'm a Twins fan.

I don't know -- by handling my backpacks, I earned some pretty awesome biceps. Kind of scary -- I even had a vein on my right arm! It was hilarious -- petite girl with these arms that said, don't mess with me, bro. Good to have in a country without a constitution currently, I suppose.

And, yeah. We need to do something about this whole you're-five-inches-away-from-me-on-the-map thing. Silly, isn't it?!

(um, GO CARDS!!!) *insert die hard here*

Happy Belated Birthday!!! Wow, Gretchen, how did I miss this one? So sorry. My only excuse is that I went back to work in an office three weeks ago which seemed to have done something nasty to my brain. It's much better when I work from home!

THANK YOU Holly!!!!!!!!!!

Office work will do that to you - fries all the important brain cells and leaves the ones that alcohol has already claimed.

Amanda - it may be closer to six inches away on the map. Ohhhh, that's kinda far...

GO TWINS!!! And, my Vikings won their pre-season game but poor Beerman's Bears lost theirs. ;)
