trips??

Whats a good trip or excursion to go on in australia where i can meet ppl if i dont know anyone??

Depending on where you are in the country, its rather a big place although officially the smallest continent, I would recommend the Gold Coast, Great Barrier Reef, lots of options for that one, Sydney for 3-4 days, Ayres Rock or if youre feeling very ambitious a 3-4 days excursion across to Tasmania. I really like Tasmania and Hobart is an incredibly friendly place, much more so than Sydney. Australia isnt my favourite place for a break but I get to work there quite a lot so its nice to get paid for going there. Although I hate the flights to get there. I much prefer the outback to the cities. One of my favourite built up regions though is around Darwin. The weather up there is so much better generally than in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. Sydney is lots of fun and they certainly like their beer around the beaches and bars. I really dont think you will have a problem finding friends in Oz. It is a pretty friendly country, although rather racist towards many outsiders. Then again thats quite common the world over nowadays.

Just turn up at your first hostel and you'll know people within a few hours. Otherwise if you're travelling by bus you're bound to meet some like minded people with a similar itinerary to you.

i'l on the gold coast, im staying with family see so its abit harder to meet ppl now. i've stayed in hostels tho
