Dream Destinations

My boyfriend and I are planning a 2 weeks vacation end of January, starting from Shanghai. We want to have some nice, cozy beach life mainly, budget is 2000 EUR for the trip. Any suggestions (no Thailand/Vietnam tough). Was thinking about NEW Zealand and Fiji? Where would you go with that budget and 2 weeks?

I certainly wouldnt say that Shanghai was part of a dream destination. One of the filthiest and unfriendliest places I have ever visited. You have to be so very careful with your photgraph intentions there and the food markets are just full of live animals hanging up by their hind legs, screaming out in pain all the time.
Youll love New Zealand, both islands. Thats where I would go.

you can try to drop by the Philippines... you'll find a number of relaxing beach resorts there specially in El Nido or Puerto Princesa... or you can check Bohol, or some new beach destination like Pagudpod or Caramoan (twice used for Survivor France)
