Well thank you everyone. I probably will have a lot of questions closer to my big move!!
I guess I will just take a plane from Stansted to Copenhagen. Then a train to Malmo. That seems like the easiest, fastest, and cheapest way....

I guess I can ask this question too since I am on here. I am going to be teaching in Essex England and they are setting me up in a house where I will be living with about 3 to 4 other people....2 bathrooms....my own room and the place is cleaned for us. I will be paying about 125pounds a week. Is this sounding like a good deal or should I try and find my own place?? I know three other people who are going to Essex too that are friends of mine but 2 of them are a couple and finding their own apartment and the other one is in the same boat as me.

Thanks again for all of the help. I really had no idea what to do!!!

It's been ages since I did anything like that so it sounds a lot. Might pay you to compare it against similar properties in the area. Good luck with your move. ;)

It does sound a fair bit - are any utilities included? Also, whereabouts in Essex is it? The southeast of England is expensive, particularly the closer you get to London!

Yes the utilities are included. I will be living in a house with 3 to 4 others....and they take care of the house for us and clean it etc....

That sounds better with utilities included!

The only other main thing to keep in mind is council tax - in a house of 4 people, as a very rough guide this could be in the region of £25-40/month per person depending on what it costs for that property. In the UK it's usually the occupants (tenants) of the property who pay this, rather than the owner who lives elsewhere. If you're not sure what the deal is with this, it may be worthwhile just checking.

Might be prudent to ask the owner before anyone else - income tax and all that. :(
