I've mapped photos of Morocco.
Had some photos taken in Mirhleft and Sidi Ifni along the southern coast.
I mapped these photos, and the right location popped up when typing the location, it recognized the towns of Mirhleft and Sidi Ifni.
When I have a look at my photo gallery, the location shown is not Mirhleft or Sidi Ifni, but instead Id Kouja and Idufkir respectively
I also changed it by editing the photos. Also over there it recognized the locations by typing it but afterwards it still shows that same Id Kouja and Idufkir? Don't get it really.
Also, when mapping my photos I could (if the 'system' doesn't recognize the places you are typing) just click the approximate location on a map and then give it a name. or maybe even put GPS coordinates over there and give it name. That's a great tool of course, but here again: when editing the photo it doesn't recognize (of course) a certain name you gave it or want to give it. For example, the ones of Legzira Plage in my photo gallery.
And that's totally crap, because that means bascially that the two aren't linked: you can add a GPS coordinate and give it name, but when editing the photo the location isn't recognized anymore and you simply have to put the nearest town/city it recognizes or just the country.
So, how can we do something about this, what do you suggest?
My solution would be to quit the option of the location shown when editing the photo. Like it used to be up until a year ago or so.
