i'm flying to Istambul on 11th of August and i'm flying back on 6th of September.
I've made a rookie mistake and forget about the info of the passport, i just read it expires on the 17th of September.
I don't have the time anymore to ask for a very urgent one.
So do you think i'm going to have problems to get the Visa at the Airport in Istambul? You think they're refusing me the entry visa?
Are you with a package tour or backpacking?
With a package tour it won't be a big problem I think. When I went to Turkey in 2004 on a package tour I had 3 days left on my passport after my intended departure, it was supposed to be 3 months but nobody gave a damn. (Note though that as German I can enter Turkey visa-free.)
In any case be ready to show your return flight ticket out of Turkey, thus proving that you intend to leave before your passport expires.
The chances are the check-in desk wont let you get on board your flight if they think that your passpoort wont be accepted at the other end. Its a common rule regardless of EU or Non-EU status. You must check with the Turkish Consulate to avaid disappointment.
