Anthony,
Since I live here, pretty good chance I will be here when you visit. Give me a shout right before you visit and I will help with show tickets or buffets if you want any assistance.

thanks Mike,

ive been there twice before. I went in December which was quite cold, then August/septmeber which was hot. When does the weather start cooling down? If if go i'd like to be able to lay by a pool during the day. I don't think they are open all year round. Don't want them to close them when I get there.

I'll let you know if i book anything. one show that interested me the last time I was there was "The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil" show at the Mirage Hotel. I didn't get to see that.

October is the best month for good weather. Shorts, t-shirts during the day, cools off at night. I saw 'Love', great show. It is worth the money IMO.

We're off for vegas in mid October...

For accomodation, we're currently considering Hard Rock Hotel.. Looks awesome with the whole pool-party thing going on from 12 till afternoon...

Would you recommend HRH, vegasmike?

Tia!

Hard Rock Hotel caters to a younger crowd. The 30 and under seem to really like HRH. It just opened a new tower of rooms, quite impressive in this economy. If your budget can afford it, I am sure you will enjoy the Hard Rock. I am over 60, so I usually pass on the HR. Tried to eat in Mr. Lucky's once, was just too loud for me. I don't want rock and roll at LOUD levels while I try to enjoy a meal. But that is just me. You will probably like the atmosphere. Good luck with your planning.
