Who`s been to the Phillipines & what did you think????

Question as in the title.........let me know your thoughts on the Phillipines as heading there dec/jan....what did you like/not like about it?...cheers!!

Next dec/feb we'll go back for the third time, by than we will have stayed over four months in this amazing country.
Does this says enough?

We already visited Luzon, Palawan, Cebu, Davao City, Negros & Bohol. Next year we'll visit Samar, Leyte, northern Mindanao en again Bohol.

I went earlier this year and really enjoyed it. The food and beer is not great but there is plenty to see and do. The filipino's are very friendly and love to chat which is very nice. The are just so many islands to visit you can spend so much time exploring them aswell as realxing there.

Hmmp, not too keen on the Jeepneys though, inside they are very small and I kept banging my head on the ceiling aswell as stepping on the the passengers feet, hehe. Mind you taxi's are so cheap anyway.

Dec to Jan is a good time to come into the country as it is within the colder months so you wouldn't sweat too much but still enjoy the tropical sun... And during this time, almost the whole country is in the Christmas mood and you'd probably see many lighted establishment and carols..

Best beaches in the world. Great people. So many different islands to see. You could spend a lifetime there and never see it all as there are over 7000 islands. Basically I love the Philippines. I even love the Jeepneys. The San Mig light beer is the best in the world as it doesn't give you a hangover. Yes, I love it.

I loved the Philippines. My favorite area so far has been Palawan - but I haven't hated anywhere I've been even Cebu or Manila have a lot to offer. The people are great and there are tons of things to see and places to visit.

Like any place there are good areas and bad areas - but we never had any problems traveling the country.
