Is there a difference leaving Manila using both PAL of Cebu Pacific. I know PAL uses its own terminal, but why?
Is this one much better organised?

Philippine Airlines is the country's flag carrier and indeed all its international and domestic flights are using one terminal (Terminal 2). Cebu Pacific is a low cost carrier and both its international and domestic flights currently use the new terminal (Terminal 3). Personally, I prefer Cebu Pacific as I'm satisfied with its service and cheaper flights. Also, Cebu Pacific has limited international flights to countries that are within 5 hour travel time from Manila, while PAL has long haul flights to major cities around the globe. So if you're flying out of Manila to Belgium, you may have a better connection to a flight than with Cebu Pacific. |

and both will give you the same massive delays - but from experience I think PAL is more reliable if you are in a time crunch. In fact I don't recall a single Cebu Pacific flight I've taken which actually took off within an hour of it's scheduled time. Still you can't knock Cebu Pacific for the price. |

I like the arrival and departure times better for PAL. I have to use PAL again in about 17 days.

I havent flown with PAL but I have flown with Cebu Pacific loads of times and I would recommend them. They are cheaper than PAL and a perfectly good budget airline. You may have a slight delay but I have never had any major delay with them. Even if you do you can just go sit in the bar and have another drink. Sometimes I like delays so I can order another beer! |
