Hi guys!

I was just wondering if anyone out there had any tips of places and experiences in paris that are a must?

I am there from 16th - 19th of october, and apart from the obvious sites, was wondering if people knew of any hidden away little gems, and amazing things not normally thought about?

(I am also on a mission to visit the places where 'Amelie' was filmed)

Thanks peeps!!!x

Hello!

I'm also planning a trip to Paris, but by the end of Oct. I am also interested in the places where Amelie were filmed. My Paris visit, still considering, will be a 3/4-day trip.

I just checked out from this forum that Monet's garden is worth for a visit.

I hope you will enjoy it wherever places you will visit. Please, if you receive some advices and return from your trip, post them here!

Thanks!

Although part of the tourist circuit, I would definately recommend the catacombes, they are quite incredible. Fascinating, repulsive and beautiful all at the same time. If you go, take a walk through the Montparnasse cemetary on route, some of the tombs are far more spectacular than you will find in any art gallery!
